Jenny Kanevsky grew up in Philadelphia; her entire family is east coast born and bred. She ventured west to earn a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After college she lived in Italy and Philadelphia. She then relocated further west to earn a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Washington, Seattle.

Before writing fiction, Jenny worked in the software industry and in financial services. She has traveled extensively in Italy, South Africa, The Netherlands, Spain and Australia. She finally settled in Seattle where she lives with her husband and son. She is currently at work on her next novel.
